The legendary "Strauss Mappe" was initiated by the artists Günther Vossiek and Siegfried Neuenhausen as an act of solidarity with the caricaturist Rainer Hachfeld, who was brought to trial for depicting Franz Josef Strauss, chairman of the Christian Social Union (CSU), with a swastika-like body.

A copy of this political portfolio is contained in the collection of the Harvard Art Museums (http://www.harvardartmuseums.org/collections/object/218236)

V." Subskriptionseinladungen einzig an ausgewählte Vertrauenspersonen.“ (Der Spiegel, 24. April 1972)
